Privacy policy

Scope

This policy explains how VNG Lab Supplies, a trading name of Xero Industries LLC of Indian Trail, North Carolina, handles personal information collected through vngsupplies.com. It applies to this website and to orders placed through it.

What we collect

• Order and contact details — your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and what you ordered.
• Payment information — handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits and card type. We never receive or store your full card number, expiry, or security code.
• Correspondence — emails and messages you send us, so we can answer them.
• Basic technical data — standard web-server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site working.
• Your cart — stored in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh. It is not sent to us until you place an order.

Why we use it

• To take, confirm, ship, and support your order.
• To handle returns, refunds, and carrier claims.
• To confirm you meet the 18+ and lawful-use requirements in our terms of sale.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• To detect and prevent fraud and site abuse.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Marketing

We send transactional messages about your order. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent, and any marketing email we do send carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, with:

• Shipping carriers — your name, address, and phone number, to deliver your order.
• Our payment provider — to process your payment.
• Service providers — hosting and email delivery, bound to handle data on our instructions.
• Authorities — where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies

We use only what the site needs to function — your cart in local storage, and standard server logs. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to support the order and to meet tax and accounting obligations — generally seven years. Correspondence is kept for up to two years. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to order data is restricted to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — subject to records we must keep by law. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither) and not to be discriminated against for exercising a right. Email info@vngsupplies.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page.
